MAY 2, 2009 ADULT & YOUTH INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAM
Just show up to play! Sessions begin Saturday 7:00 AM to 12:00 at Banneker Tennis Courts, Georgia Ave. at Euclid Street. Washington area players on all levels are invited to play for free.
JUNE 4 thru 7, 2009 The ANNUAL USTA ANNUAL SHILOH OPEN
Matches begin Thursday 3 pm & continue thru Sunday June 7, 2009 at Banneker Tennis Courts. Play begins at 3 pm on Friday, and 8 am on Saturday and Sunday. Go to USTA website Tennis Link to register to compete.
JUNE 11 thru 14, 2009 The DC Closed Youth Championships Co-sponsored with DC Parks and Recreation
Matches begin Thursday 4 pm & continue thru Sunday June 14, 2009 at Turkey Thicket Tennis Courts. Play begins at 4 pm on Friday, and 8 am on Saturday and Sunday. Youth 7 to 17 living in Washington DC are invited to compete by going to USTA website Tennis Link to register.
AUGUST 8, 2009 TENNIS AT SHILOH/LEGG MASON NIGHT
Don’t miss the action! Semi final matches begin at 7 pm at Rock Creek Tennis Stadium. Tickets cost approx. $40 and support TAS Youth Program. Attendees watch at least two matches featuring the world’s top players.
AUGUST 29, 2009 ARTHUR ASHE KIDS DAY AT THE US OPEN
TAS youth & chaperons travel by luxury bus to NYC Kick off the 2009 US Open at Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day. The day long event features interactive games, favorite tennis stars along with the latest music sensations.
SEPTEMBER 12, 2009 SHILOH INTRAMURAL TOURNAMENT
Competition begins Saturday at 8 am & continues thru Sunday September 6, 2009 at Banneker Tennis Courts. Instructional program participants compete for trophies & bragging rights.
